LIHEAP Crisis Assistance, when funding is available, may help with disconnect notices, furnace repair or furnace replacement for homeowners. Crisis assistance is dependent upon funding availability and may be available between April-October.
May have some crisis funding available outside the normal LIHEAP months with local funding, call local County Outreach Office for availability of funding.

1st Five aims to increase developmental screening in primary care practices and has a referral system to support children identified as at-risk for developmental delays. 1st Five works with pediatric and family care providers to help link families to the resources and support services their child needs.

SAL Home Child Care Network - Moline
Trains home child care providers to help ensure the highest quality of care is provided by offering free training and courtesy home visits with activities and crafts for the children, CPR/First Aid certification, and professional development opportunities.
Training for child care providers is offered both through SAL Child Care Resource and Referral programs for all licensed and license-exempt centers and homes in the 16-county IL area from the Quad Cities to central Illinois, and through SAL Home Child Care Network Moline, Galesburg, and Peoria offices for licensed home providers who are part of the Network.

UIC Division of Specialized Care For Children - Mokena Regional Office
Guides families through their child’s journey with a medical condition. Works with doctors, schools and community groups to create a seamless support system.
Care coordination team works together with families to develop a plan of care that addresses a child’s medical, social, behavioral, educational and financial needs. Care coordination is free for all children who have eligible medical conditions, regardless of their family’s income level.
Care coordination can include finding specialized medical care, helping families understand their child’s diagnosis and medical treatment plan, explaining insurance benefits and attending school meetings.
Helps children who are medically fragile remain in their family home rather than a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
Assists with:
- Finding specialized medical care
- Making sure families understand their child’s diagnosis and medical treatment plan
- Helping families understand their insurance benefits and maximize their coverage
- Attending IEP /504 Plan school meeting
- Connecting families with financial support, grants and other community resources
- Preparing for the transition to adulthood
