By using a tool for all children that includes social-emotional development and family risk factors, providers are able to identify children at risk for developmental concerns that, if left untreated, would play out later in life.

Macon Resources (MRI)
Training focuses on personal, social, educational, and vocational development at all ability levels. The training program includes education, community integration training, pre-vocational training, assistance with personal care and work opportunities.
Each day is planned around the individual, working with his or her case manager to set goals. After goals are set by the individual, the support team works to plan a Vocational/Developmental Training in order to work toward the set goals.
CommUnity Food Bank
Provides grocery assistance once a week, with no limit on the number of weekly visits per year. Clients may choose the items which will work best for their family, with some limits based on family size. Pre-made bags may be available for individuals who prefer not to shop. The Food Bank provides non-perishable items as well as produce, bakery, deli, dairy, or health and hygiene items as they are available through donations. USDA foods are available to anyone who is eligible without providing any additional information, with no income requirements. Johnson County residents are eligible for full food pantry membership services (access to non-USDA foods).
Iowa's Juvenile Fire Intervention Program - Region 3 - Northwest
Provides a cohesive partnership among the communities and Fire Departments to reduce the number of fire injuries and deaths, by providing evaluation, education, and redirection assistance to the children who exhibit fire setting behavior at no cost to the families affected. Trained providers will connect a child (or youth) to appropriate resources in the community, this can include fire safety education or professional counseling services when necessary. USDA Farm Service Agency
Provides direct and guaranteed farm ownership and operating loans to family-size farmers and ranchers who cannot obtain commercial credit from a bank, Farm Credit System institution, or other lender. FSA loans can be used to purchase land, livestock, equipment, feed, seed, and supplies or to construct buildings or make farm improvements. The agency also targets a portion of its loan funds to small and beginning farmers and ranchers. Many FSA loan application forms are available on the website. Persons are also encouraged to contact their local office or USDA Service Center to learn more about programs and the information needed for a complete application.
