Provides childcare services to all infants and children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Services also include a 3-year-old preschool.

Provides services coordination/case management to those disabled and/or older adults who meet nursing facility level of care for the Medicaid Waiver Program. This program is based upon the belief that people with care needs should have options for receiving services. Potential participants will meet with a staff person to determine needs and develop a care plan. Eligible persons are offered the choice of receiving home and community-based services or nursing facility care.

Designed to help individuals optimize their personal and social competency to live successfully in the community. Activities include volunteerism, leisure and recreation, health and wellness, personal empowerment, access to the arts, making friends, pursuing hobbies, passions, and more.

Assists individuals in Illinois in becoming licensed foster parents. Also provides follow-up training for foster parents to help meet the various needs of their foster children.

Services provided:

-- LCFS team provides guidance and support through the foster care experience.

-- Health insurance for the children placed in a foster home.

-- Therapy, counseling, and academic counseling, and special education services when needed.

-- Training programs, support groups, and newsletters geared to foster families.

-- Monthly financial support for the foster child(ren's) basic needs, including food, clothing, and housing costs.

-- Funding for daycare, after-school care, and extracurricular activities including sports and art programs for eligible children in foster care.

Additionally, assistance is available to cover tuition, fees, or other expenses for individuals who wish to participate in recreational, artistic, or leisure-time activities, as well as organized sports programs, ensuring access for those who may face financial barriers.

Emergency operations center for the County, which handles emergency response incidents, including accidents, fires, floods, storms and other disasters. Also responsible for requesting federal assistance after a disaster.

Provides comprehensive support services for individuals and families facing mental health or behavioral challenges. Families build a personalized support team that may include professionals, service providers, friends, mentors, and other trusted individuals. 

Provides services for income-eligible children. Services include referrals to community resources and medical or dental care, EPSDT - Care for Kids care coordination and informing, free lead testing and immunizations for children, help to access professional dental care, dental care coordination services, developmental screening for children ages birth thru 5 years, and, case management for children with identified needs.

Also identifies, coordinates, and provides needed services/referrals for proper growth and development for children birth-5 years with area Early ACCESS Program.

Assists pregnant women and families with children prenatal through five to prepare for a new baby and to provide the best care possible after that baby arrives and as he or she grows. Services will focus on prenatal care, child development, child health, parenting skills and other aspects of family functioning. In-home nursing services are available to pregnant women and infants with medical needs.
