The preschool is a part of the Larkin High School Childhood Education program. High school students work with children under faculty supervision. The schedule is based on a developmental age-appropriate preschool concept.

Offers voluntary programs to eligible landowners and agricultural producers to provide financial and technical assistance to help manage natural resources in a sustainable manner. Through these programs the agency approves contracts to provide financial assistance to help plan and implement conservation practices that address natural resource concerns or opportunities to help save energy, improve soil, water, plant, air, animal and related resources on agricultural lands and non-industrial private forest land, with emphasis on market stability and commodity pricing.

Offers to help children in grades 4-12 develop knowledge and skills. Services include learning about citizenship, leadership, cooking, arts and crafts, mechanics and technology, horticulture, agriculture, and other subjects. To teach young people about these subjects, the 4-H program uses the learn-by-doing method of instruction.

Offers MEDICAID (Medical Assistance) to people who are low income and aged (65 and older), disabled (including blindness), women needing treatment for cancer or pre-cancerous conditions of breast or cervix (who have been screened and diagnosed through the Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection program and who do not have credible health insurance coverage), children under 21 years of age, pregnant women, parents or other caretaker relatives of children under age 18 (or under age 19 if they are attending secondary school and are expected to graduate before age 19). DODGE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY (515-574-4700): A medium security men’s facility, emphasizing: academic and vocational education, psychological services and counseling, cognitive skills training, substance abuse program, reentry programs, anger management, parenting programs, family violence program, and MIFVPP IOWA CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION FOR WOMEN, MITCHELLVILLE (515-725-5042): Serves as the reception and classification center for all females entering the adult institutional corrections system. A medium security women's facility emphasizing academic and vocational education, prison industries, psychological counseling, cognitive skill training, substance abuse programs, violence prevention, pre-release program, reentry programs, anger management and parenting programs IOWA MEDICAL & CLASSIFICATION CENTER, CORALVILLE (319-626-2391): IMCC serves as the reception and classification center for all males 18 years of age and older entering the adult institutional corrections system. After extensive testing and assessment of risk, health and cognitive skills, they are then processed on to other facilities. A medium security general population unit is in operation at IMCC, as well as, a special needs unit with both medical and mental health beds. IMCC also runs the only licensed forensic psychiatric hospital in the state, providing inpatient psychiatric and evaluation service to non-adjudicated patients IOWA STATE PENITENTIARY, FT. Offers peer-led support in both one-on-one sessions and group recovery settings, helping participants build foundations for sustained sobriety. Peers help with support and bring real-life experiences to help guide individuals through every stage of their addiction recovery.

Can also provide Drug Court Support Services where Recovery Specialists work in close partnership with local Southern Illinois drug courts to provide vital support to individuals navigating both the judicial system and the recovery process. Will assist participants throughout the court-mandated recovery programs.
