Good Neighbor Community Center, Inc.
- Non-Perishables: Appointment needed before one can come in for a pantry. Call to make an appointment. If it is an emergency case, individuals must call the center and explain the situation to a staff or volunteer.
- Food Net: Every Sunday at 1 pm-2 pm, Allon Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church is on site hosting Food Net.
- Perishables: Each Monday and Wednesday, GNCC distributes perishable food like fruits, vegetables, bread, milk, etc. between 10 am-12 pm. No appointment needed to come in for perishables, but CLARITY cards are requested or any identification cards to keep position in line. Front door opens at 8 am and everyone is welcome to wait in the building. GNCC distributes non-perishable like canned food, frozen meat, dry beans, pasta, etc. through our Shopper's Choice Pantry. Individuals with appointments are given the opportunity to walk into our pantry and pick out food for themselves depending on their family sizes and the amount of food available. Clients may receive non-perishable food every 30 days.

Provides a wide variety of independent living services for individuals with disabilities with the objective of helping them to function more independently in family and community settings and to secure and maintain appropriate employment. Services may include information and referral services, referrals for attendant care, attendant recruitment and training programs, independent living skills training, assistance in meeting housing and transportation needs, peer counseling, transition from institutions into the community, deflection from institutional placement, transition from youth to adult services, and advice and guidance regarding legal rights and benefits eligibility.

Medication Assisted Treatment:

The facility is not prepared to work with persons who are experiencing serious medical problems or complications. The unit is staffed with nurses and behavioral technicians, but it is not a hospital.

Provides year-round centers to take items for recycling. Items accepted, cardboard, paper, plastic and glass bottles, tin or aluminum cans, other metals, electronics, clothing, 6-pack plastic rings, 12-count egg cartons, etc. Also accepts TVs and electronics for a fee.
Offers to educate the community as to what and how to recycle to keep items out of the landfill and to protect the planet.

Offers sexual assault and incest support groups are provided by professional staff. Groups are also available to non-offending parents and family members to help those understand their roles in their loved one's recovery and to address issues regarding abuse and court procedures.
