New Life Pregnancy Center
Provides education, free services, and practical support with a holistic and compassionate approach. Pregnancy testing with immediate results. Limited medical services ultrasound, STI testing, and treatment. Offers referrals for medical services, legal assistance, adoption and/or financial aid. Parenting classes B.E.S.T. / Blessings, Encouragement, Support and Training. Blessing Boutique is an on-site resource center stocked with a variety of items that can only be purchased with Care Cash earned in the B.E.S.T. program.
Hope House Residency program provides care and support for mothers as they build independent lives for themselves and their newborn children during the baby's first year of life. Women are welcomed into a safe and loving family home that provides programs and supportive services. Mothers will receive practical, emotional, and spiritual support. Threads of Hope is a group designed to support those who have experienced a pregnancy loss through miscarriage, stillbirth or any other form of infant death.

Heartland Bank AARP Tax Preparation Location
Provides in-person and virtual tax assistance to anyone free of charge with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low-to-moderate income for the 2026 tax season. Free, year-round tax assistance is also available on the Internet. Taxpayers can post tax questions to online tax assistors by visiting the website.

Dubuque Housing and Community Development
When accepting applications, applications will be available online beginning at 12 am at [email protected]. Paper applications will be available from 8 am-5 pm at the Housing and Community Development Department, 350 W 6th St, Suite 312 in Dubuque. Can also call (563) 589-4230. Applications will be accepted the second Tuesday of the month.
PLEASE NOTE: The Housing Choice Voucher waiting list will only open on the second Tuesday of each month for a 24 hour time period to accept applications. Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications are accepted for 24 hours on the second Tuesday of each month from 12 am to 11:59 p.m. Each month, all applications received are placed in a random lottery selection for placement on a waiting list.

Gifts and a food voucher are available to families with children ages 15 and younger and to seniors age 60+. Food vouchers are available for families with children ages 16+ and to adults without children.

- 24/7 referral coordination.
- Educational programs.
- Registration.
- Lab screenings.
- General help for patients and medical providers involved in the organ donation process.
