Works with income-eligible homeowners to make their homes safer and more energy efficient by eliminating heat loss and air infiltration areas in the home. After the initial assessment, recommendations on home improvements are given to the homeowner and the Weatherization team will coordinate repairs with contractors. Examples of common improvements include sealing cracks, insulating attics, or repairing windows and doors. All improvements are completed at no cost to the homeowner.

Additional priority is given to households with elderly, disabled, and young children.

Provides electronic supervision and surveillance of high risk offenders.

Provides inpatient and outpatient mental health services. Services include treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, self-harm and suicidality, family/relationship problems, OCD, and confusion/memory loss.

Offers supervision and training in independent living skills for people who experience a cognitive disability and/or chronic mental illness and live in their own apartments or homes in the community. Also provides representative payee services.

English as a Second Language (ESL) for people who want to learn to speak, read and write English.

Provides various special education services to students in member districts. Services include operates a life skills classroom, a transition classroom, a self-contained cross categorical classroom, four sections of early childhood education, support and a variety of trainings to teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents in the member districts.

Offers a drive-thru food pantry.

Provides personal hygiene or care items such as soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and diapers when available. Can be used once per month.

Provides a wide variety of services to the community, including literacy programs, Recycle for Sight, vision screening, community service.

Offers FIP (Family Investment Program) a cash assistance program for children and their families who have low income, also available to relatives caring for children whose parents are not in the home. The goal of FIP is to help families leave poverty and become self supporting, can participate for up to 60 months. FIP is Iowa's Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.
