Program is centered around research-based horticulture and gardening knowledge and practices to educate people and coordinate projects that promote healthy communities. Register for the core course as a Pro-Hort trainee if you are not interested in volunteering. Master Gardener Program is looking for volunteers who can make a commitment to the program – 40 volunteer hours and 40 education hours in the first two years. Then 20 volunteer hours and 10 education hours after the Master Gardener training.

The program evaluates visual functioning and may recommend assistive technology products, such as visual or reading aids, to address identified needs.
