The program helps lower health care costs by reducing dangers in the home, like radon, mold, and things that trigger asthma. Families learn healthy habits, such as quitting smoking and changing furnace filters more often. By fixing problems in the home, the program helps prevent health issues before they start.

It also connects families in the Omaha metro area with resources and programs for green, safe, and healthy housing.
