Provides Crisis Intervention Services to callers seeking help with situations including Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Homelessness, Suicide, and many other crises. In addition, Information and Referral services are provided, as any lack of information regarding resources available is in itself a potential crisis.

Offers primary care including family medicine, internal medicine, infectious disease management, pediatric care, OB/GYN services, prenatal and postpartum coordinated care with labor and delivery, immunizations and preventative screenings, and chronic care.

Provides care to terminally ill patients in their home, hospital, or nursing home (whichever is the most appropriate setting). With an emphasis on comfort and quality of life, a team of physicians, nurses, therapists, bereavement counselors, pharmacists, personal care assistants, volunteers, social services, and clergy provide clinical, spiritual, and emotional care to patients and their families experiencing a life-limited illness

Provides mental health assessments on all child and adolescent referrals. After the needs are identified, the assessment specialist will recommend the program to fit the child's needs. If the child requires psychiatric medication in addition to primary health care, the family may choose to utilize the on-site family Nurse Practitioner who will be able to provide both services.

Provides self-sufficiency advocates to work with foster care alumni ages 18 – 21 to move toward stability and self-sufficiency in six key areas: education, employment, housing, health, life skills, and relationships.

Provides education and consumer assistance designed to facilitate enrollment of county residents in the Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace through the In-Person Counseling Program.

Access to health insurance through the Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace is one of the many changes in the health care and health insurance fields made possible by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). People in need of assistance due to language barriers, technology disadvantages, or a lack of understanding of health insurance can arrange to meet an In-Person Counselor to assist them.

Maintains plans and trains community partners regarding the 24/7 response to a public health emergency. Public health emergencies can consist of a bio-terrorist attack, pandemic influenza or any emerging infectious disease that threatens McLean County. Staff are available to provide presentations to community groups or businesses. The emergency preparedness program coordinates the McLean County Health Department Medical Reserve Corps which is a volunteer organization consisting of McLean County residents, 18 or older, who are trained to support public health emergencies.

Also, offers MRC a collaborative venture of the Health Department and the McLean County Emergency Management Agency to recruit, train, and mobilize volunteers to assist the existing public health infrastructure during a public health emergency or disaster to strengthen and support emergency response efforts in McLean County.
