National Safe Haven Alliance

Promotes safe alternatives for parents in crisis pregnancy situations in every state.

The 24-hour crisis hotline provides support and direction for parents and providers regarding the Safe Haven law, including Safe Surrender locations, adoption resources, and parenting support. Also provides direct resources to assist and prevent infant abandonment. The crisis hotline is staffed by trained professionals who are able to support and assist parents and providers.

Administers the WIC program. Participants in WIC receive an eWIC card for healthy foods. The foods provided by WIC provide nutrients that are essential for good health and growth. Participants also meet with nurses and dietitians to review health and diet information, discuss important nutrition information for their family, and receive referrals for other services when needed.
