May be able to assist with past due rent to those who have dealt with circumstances beyond the household’s control. This program does not assist with mortgages or property taxes.

Program availability depends on funding availability. Rents must fall within the local rent standards for the household’s size. These programs are funded by a Community Services Block Grant (CSBG)

Offers a partial hospitalization program, also known as a day treatment program, for clients who require a more intensive treatment than outpatient programs, but are unable to commit to a residential or inpatient rehabilitation facility. PHP can also offer therapy sessions which assist clients in addressing co-occurring mental and/or physical health issues in addition to their substance use.

Offers communicable disease follow-up and education to control the spread of infection and illness.

Provides autism screenings and help find diagnostic services. Teams help Iowa families navigate local supports and services for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and provide family-to-family support. 

Offers to advocate for community members with understanding civil rights and responsibilities when dealing with the government, employers, or other service providers. Examples of advocacy services, IEP advocacy for students, information on Social Security/Disability benefits application and appeals.
