Curtis House is a 3-5 bed residential facility for adults with intellectual disabilities offering 24 hour care, meals and activities. The home is Medicaid certified for HCBS ID Waiver services.

Services will focus on prenatal care, child development, child health, parenting skills and other aspects of family functioning. In-home nursing services are available to pregnant women and infants with medical needs.

Provides children with important information by handling the issue of child sexual abuse in a sensitive manner while empowering children and equipping them with the skills needed to help prevent and report abuse. The program consists of six 30-minute sessions: Asking for Help, Babies, Asking for Permission, Identifying Private Parts, Developing Empathy, Touches (Good/Bad/Mixed-up).

Emergency financial assistance for basic necessities such as rent and utility payments, medical/dental assistance, prescription medications, burial assistance, and food may be available. Can also assists with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws.

Specializes in providing assistance to individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families for a full range of life and family issues, including couples problems, depression, anxiety, childhood and adolescent behavioral issues, trauma, and grief.

Staff are also available to provide education seminars or specialized group counseling programs on site to any local organization, school, church, or business; topics include communication, conflict resolution, parent training and education, child and adolescent groups, marital enrichment, and anger management.

Services may be available outside of normal business hours.

Unemployment Insurance benefits assist individuals who are unemployed through no fault of their own. Benefits are paid from the Nebraska State Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund. The fund is supported solely by a special tax on employers. Unemployment claims are filed online at NEworks.nebraska.gov.

Responsible for protecting the federal judicial process; conducting fugitive investigations; managing and selling assets seized and forfeited by federal law enforcement agencies nationwide; safe and secure confinement, care, and transportation of federal prisoners; and operation of the federal Witness Security Program.

Offers to assist a relative caregiver who wants to obtain guardianship through probate court of a relative's child living in the home of the caregiver. This includes

- Educating and helping the caregiver negotiate the probate court system.

• Assisting caregivers to obtain required documents.
• Arranging for legal counsel in counties where legal counsel is necessary.

  EFSP caseworkers meet with the relative caregiver monthly until guardianship has been obtained or until other services have been provided. These services can include crisis intervention, applying for benefits, working with local schools for the child's enrollment, and referral to a range of needed services that the caregiver may have to help meet the basic needs of the family.

Offers a six-month residential recovery program for men with substance use disorder or behavioral health issues.

Administers licenses for beer/liquor, cigarette sales, pushcart/peddler/solicitor/transient merchant/mobile food unit; taxi cab/limousine license, and tow fees.
