Offers attendance and truancy prevention and intervention services. Truancy Specialists make contact via letter or phone call to discuss attendance concerns with parent(s)/guardian(s), conducts home visits, provides one-on-one informal attendance counseling between Truancy Specialist and student, works as a liaison between student, family, and school district, and links students and families to local area social service as needed.

Offers Credit Recovery to all districts in the coverage area and it is provided via on-line instruction. Students who have failed courses required for graduation, can be referred to TAP for Credit Recovery, contact school's guidance counselor.

Provides abuse and crisis intervention services to those going through a domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or sex trafficking situation. Services include a family violence crisis line, counseling or counseling referrals for survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault, emergency shelter and transportation, peer support groups, and child advocacy.

Protection order assistance, criminal justice/legal advocacy, and medical advocacy are also available to those who may need it.

Works to build awareness of abuse by partnering with local agencies to offer community education programs and a resource library.

Provides end-of-life care for patients and support for their family members and caregivers. Care emphasis on pain and symptom management.

Adult services include individual, marital, or family therapy; psychiatric services to assess the need for medication therapy; intensive outpatient program available during weekdays to transition from, or as an alternative to, inpatient hospitalization.

Offers Health and Safety classes. Services include First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR, Babysitting, Pet First Aid, Life Guarding, Water Safety and the Annual Learn to Swim Program. Provide First Aid Stations for selected activities throughout the state of Iowa. Facilitates the sale of and provide training for Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). HEALTH EDUCATION provides educational talks and demonstrations on HIV/AIDS, Your Heart Matters, Workplace Violence Awareness, Protect Your Back, Ergonomics, Managing Stress, Avian Flu 101, HIV/AIDS, and Slips Trips and Falls.

Provides on-site crisis intervention services to medical professionals, employers, family members, friends or individuals who believe a situation would benefit from this service. Anyone can call to discuss Mobile Crisis Outreach with Foundation 2 staff.

Call to dispatch the Mobile Crisis Outreach Unit

Provides onsite, in-person intervention for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, including youth and adults, that dispatches mental health professionals to homes, schools, ERs, or other public places where a mental health crisis is occurring. Response time is within 60 minutes of MCAT's dispatch.

Services include:

- Developing safety plans, making referrals, and scheduling follow-up services with individuals to avoid hospitalization.

- Assessing individuals to determine the need for a higher level of care.

- De-escalating crisis situations.

- Arranging transportation to a higher level of care as needed.

Offers exercise and nature trails, native wildlife exhibits, fishing, arboretum, pioneer village, flower gardens, archery courses, and disc golf.

In addition the Center houses an Iowa Welcome Center with rooms for education and events and also sales of Iowa products and natural resource related products.

Two-year program where individuals who have a history of serious mental illness interact with practitioners and peers in individual and group settings as they work toward their mental health recovery goals.

Individuals are required to participate in the program eight hours each week.

Must participate in one group in-person session each week. Individuals participating in the program must live within driving distance of the center, to effectively participate in the program.

Eligible households can get up to $9.25 off the monthly cost of phone, internet or bundled services.

Once approved, some participating companies offer free cell phones as part of their plan.  

Investigates all reports of elder abuse in a domestic setting.

Offers HAWK-I which provides the CHIP benefits (Children's Health Insurance Program) which offers health care insurance coverage for Iowa children in families with limited incomes. Depending on the size of the family Hawk-I is from free to no more than $40.00 per month; See website for income guidelines.

Provides child care assistance and referrals for clients. Offers training opportunities and technical assistance to child care providers, work to develop new child care options and assist employers in meeting their employees’ child care needs.

Provided psychiatric services to those diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder. Services help to evaluate psychiatric symptoms and monitor prescribed psychotropic medications.

Provides an advocacy group for individuals with mental health concerns and has support groups statewide. It strives to raise public awareness and concern about mental illness, to foster research, to improve treatment and to upgrade the care delivery system. All site locations offer a variety of support groups and educational programs for those with mental health concerns their family and friends. 

Maintains county parks and recreation areas and provides hunter safety classes, camping, fishing and boating information. Outdoor recreational opportunities are available through county parks and outdoor wildlife areas.

Provides immunizations for children, adolescents, and adults, including Tdap, Hepatitis B vaccine series, and the MMR vaccine.​
