Offers attendance and truancy prevention and intervention services. Truancy Specialists make contact via letter or phone call to discuss attendance concerns with parent(s)/guardian(s), conducts home visits, provides one-on-one informal attendance counseling between Truancy Specialist and student, works as a liaison between student, family, and school district, and links students and families to local area social service as needed.

Offers Credit Recovery to all districts in the coverage area and it is provided via on-line instruction. Students who have failed courses required for graduation, can be referred to TAP for Credit Recovery, contact school's guidance counselor.

Siouxland Mental Health Crisis Center

Provides onsite, in-person intervention for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, including youth and adults, that dispatches mental health professionals to homes, schools, ERs, or other public places where a mental health crisis is occurring. Response time is within 60 minutes of MCAT's dispatch.

Services include:

- Developing safety plans, making referrals, and scheduling follow-up services with individuals to avoid hospitalization.

- Assessing individuals to determine the need for a higher level of care.

- De-escalating crisis situations.

- Arranging transportation to a higher level of care as needed.

Offers a course on becoming a master gardener. Program is centered around research-based horticulture and gardening knowledge and practices to educate people and coordinate projects that promote healthy communities. Register for the core course as a Pro-Hort trainee if you are not interested in volunteering. Master Gardener Program is looking for volunteers who can make a commitment to the program – 40 volunteer hours and 40 education hours in the first two years. Then 20 volunteer hours and 10 education hours after the Master Gardener training.

Two-year program where individuals who have a history of serious mental illness interact with practitioners and peers in individual and group settings as they work toward their mental health recovery goals.
