The mental health team works with patients to assess current coping skills, address emotional needs, and work through lifelong patterns. A board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner provides specialty care in the areas of psychiatric consultation, evaluation, and psychiatric medication management. These services are provided on-site by the mental health team.

Offers a comprehensive mental health center that provides outpatient individual, family, and group psychotherapy. Services include mental health evaluations to screen, diagnose, and plan treatment for individuals experiencing acute or chronic psychiatric issues. Psychiatric case management is available to assess needs, coordinate services, and monitor progress to ensure effective care.

Integrated Health and Community Outreach Programs are offered, including Jail Diversion programs, Integrated Health programs, and Support Community Living programs. Life skills education is provided to help individuals develop the knowledge and skills necessary for independent living, addressing areas such as job search, money management, nutrition, home management, and health care.

Serves all Nebraska adoptive families - international, domestic infant, private, step-parent and foster adoptive families. Advocates for the special interests of adoptive families and connects families to one another. Six core services include Permanency Support Services, Respite Care Connections, Parent2Parent Network, Mental Health Connections, Training, and Support Groups and Family Activities.

Case management available for up to 180 days. Individualized family plan designed and implemented with the family's input.

Assists post adoptive and guardianship families in locating formal and informal respite providers and can provide financial assistance for respite services (limited). All families who receive financial respite assistance through the program will be asked to attend a training.

Mentoring in partnership with Nebraska Foster and Adoptive Parent Association (NFAPA) to assist in providing peer mentoring services to post adoptive and guardianship families.

Mental health services - locates and refers families to professional post adoption and guardianship providers.

Training opportunities that can support skill building on issues related to adoption.

Support groups and networks for families and youth where social networks can be created and peer support can be achieved.

Provides supervision over elections and maintains vital records for the county, including birth, death, and marriage certificates. Issues marriage licenses. Manages vote by mail, check sold taxes, and election judges.

Medical and social services for migrant and seasonal farmworkers. Helps connect workers with the following services:

- Medical.

- Dental.

- OB/GYN.

- Nutrition.

- Counseling.

- Social services.

- Laboratory testing.

- Pharmacy.

Bilingual/bicultural outreach workers provide medical interpreting.

Provides services to people who have advanced, chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Services include:

• In-home pain and symptom management.
• Care coordination with current healthcare team.
• Guidance with the development of the patient's individual plan of care.
• Advocacy for the patient.

Alternative learning setting for students who need more intensive academic/social/emotional intervention or have behavioral issues.

Offers services to older adults including information and referral to community resources, home delivered meals, support groups, counseling, and caregiver resources.

Offers a variety of two year career programs and the first two years of a four year degree. Assists with job seeking skills, vocational classes, consumer education, and professional re-licensure programs.

Offers psychiatric services to children ages 5 and up and adults needing the help of medication to address their mental health concerns. Services include psychiatric evaluation, psychotropic medication management, nursing support, and case management. Assistance is given by nursing staff to provide education, medication administration, medication monitoring, and medication training. Referrals and linkage to additional services/resources are provided as well to promote stabilization and enhance independent functioning.

Provides library services for Fairbury residents and the surrounding area. Also offers computers and internet access for public use. 

Offers a two year college offering technical and continuing educational programs, English Language Learners, and HSED/High School equivalency instruction.

Emergency operations center for the County, which handles emergency response incidents, including accidents, fires, floods, storms and other disasters. Also responsible for requesting federal assistance after a disaster.

Provides hot meals delivered to homebound seniors on a daily basis.

Provides a food pantry for individuals in areas served.
