RISE Behavioral Health and Wellness
Provides a variety of counseling services, include individual, child and adolescent, family, and group counseling. Services are based upon the individual needs of the person served and consist of ongoing periodic formal sessions.
Counseling uses problem-solving and support to improve the person's ability to cope with problems of daily living. Therapy focuses on directly reducing symptoms associated with a mental illness or emotional disturbance by using psychological interventions.
Psychiatric services, which focus on diagnosing and treating mental health disorders and related conditions. Services may include medication management, psychotherapy.
Other evidence-based specific programs are available for children and adolescents to provide opportunities to develop/enhance social skills, increase self-esteem and self-confidence, and process issues in a group setting. Programs may include summer camp and adolescent boys and girls groups.
Fifth Street Renaissance/SARA Center
Provides transitional housing services for veterans who are homeless and/or disabled. SSVR provides shelter and supportive services for up to 24-months and addresses all barriers to independent living.

Heartland Hope Mission
Provides 2 to 3 toys for children ages 0-17. To be eligible for registration, a form of ID for every child and photo ID for the parent or legal guardian is required. The following ID's are accepted: Social Security Card preferred, birth certificate, passports, Medicaid or insurance cards, school ID cards, or state issued ID. Parent or legal guardian must be present to register children to receive gifts.

Maintains and provides access to official real estate documents, contracts, articles of incorporation, partnerships, state and federal tax liens, military records, birth, divorce, death, and marriage records. Offers services for issuing and renewing licenses for ATVs, boats, snowmobiles, and fishing, as well as marriage licenses and certificates. Operates as a Passport acceptance facility with photo services and processes military records for tax exemptions and benefits.
Additionally, issues public health permits to certify compliance with health laws for various facilities and institutions. Services include the establishment of standards, review of applications, issuance of permits, and enforcement of compliance through inspections and monitoring.

Provides neighbors in the Macon County area with household goods. Offering everything from cereal bowls to refrigerators at no cost. Clients are referred by social service organizations, schools, and churches in the area.

2026 YouthHope Holiday Food Baskets
Holiday Food Basket Application begin October 1, 2026. Holiday baskets include holiday meal food items and a grocery gift certificate. Baskets are limited. Clients who apply for a food basket from another agency are not eligible. First-come, first-served. Basket recipients will receive a basket pick-up card at the time of application with details.
Application must be completed in-person during Food Pantry hours: Monday & Friday 9 am-12 pm. Families may select either Thanksgiving OR Christmas while supplies last. Please one ONE basket per family per year.

Bikers Against Child Abuse - Blackhawk Chapter
Provides several individualized services in order to deter child abuse. Services provided:
- When first contacted, several members of BACA will ride to the child's house and present the child with a patch, stickers, and a photograph of the child with their new biker family. Two bikers are assigned to the child as their primary contacts.
- If abuse or harassment continues, members will create a presence at the home, being visible at times when the family may be most vulnerable.
- Court appearances are also available. Assigned bikers will appear in order to provide support for the child and reduce fear about testifying against their abuser.
Other services available:
- Providing escorts if the child feels unsafe.
- Riding by the child's home on a regular basis.
- Staying with children if they are alone or frightened.
- On-site support if needed, for the child's reassurance.
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach - Sac County
Offers SERVSAFE® classes for food service professionals, providing comprehensive training on food hazards, proper food handling practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure food safety and prevent foodborne-illness outbreaks.
Participants will gain knowledge to improve food quality and learn techniques that support the protection and utilization of food products. The program includes a 6-hour course and certification exam, offering the opportunity to become a certified Food Protection Manager through the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. Open to individuals in the restaurant and food service industry, the training also serves as a resource for those involved in commercial food production activities such as farms, aquaculture facilities, and other food-related ventures.Association for Individual Development - Yorkville
