LIHEAP (low income home energy assistance program) provides assistance with a utility bill. Applications are accepted November 1 – April 30; for elderly or disabled individuals applications are accepted starting October 1. Income must fall within 200% of poverty guideline. Call for an appointment. A letter has been sent to those who may be eligible for early application in August or September.

**This program is not designed to pay a household's total energy costs. The program will provide supplemental assistance based on several factors. This is a one-time payment to your energy provider.

No in person services are available at this site. 

Collects property taxes, conducts annual tax sale for delinquent taxes, processes vehicle transactions, issues driver's licenses, and issues motor vehicle titles and registrations.

Provides water and sewer services to the city of Le Grand. 

Offers one and two bedroom non-smoking, subsidized apartments for seniors, 62 years of age or older and or disabled of any age.

Provides food, clothing, personal hygiene products, and household goods once a month per certified client/family. Online ordering is available.

Provides information and assistance regarding programs and services available for older adults, individuals with disabilities and caregivers. 

Provides police and dispatch services for Le Roy, responsible for emergency assessment and response, including coordination with correctional facilities for the detention, confinement, and management of individuals involved in criminal offenses.

Offers a different way of paying for waste collection and disposal services. Residents are allowed one can or bag of garbage per weekly pick up. Any additional can or bag must have a tag attached. These tags for additional cans or bags can be purchased at Casey's General Store on Asbury Road or Asbury City Hall.
