Complaints: Receives and investigates complaints dumping and other garbage issues, illegal burning, and animal bites. When possible, works with tenant complaints regarding rental home conditions.

Provides American Indian employment and training programs. 

Provides supportive services to victims of domestic violence, their children, and companion animals. Services for adults and children include emergency shelter (pet friendly based on availability), counseling, support groups, housing advocacy, legal advocacy (obtaining orders of protection), medical advocacy, children's services, and a 24-hr crisis hotline.

Provides timely, factual reports about family emergencies, such as a death, illness or birth, to service members wherever they are stationed.

The main effort for emergency services is the family follow-up. SAF units contact the client to check on the outcome of the requested services. This follow-up could include:

Contacting the family after an Emergency Communications Message is sent to determine any new or ongoing needs.

Assessing the needs of the family beyond emergency communications.

Providing information about, and referral to, local resources.

Conducting a client satisfaction survey prior to closing the case.

Provides an emergency shelter in the form of a large, remodeled Victorian era house with private bedrooms and bathrooms, with shared living, laundry, and kitchen access. Also offers emergency shelter at the Leighty House. Both houses are often at capacity, so Genesis Garden also uses motel rooms for emergency shelter.

Advises and aids veterans and their dependents in applying for federal benefits through compensation or pension claims. Emergency financial assistance for basic necessities such as rent or utility payments may be available. Can also assist with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws, and burial benefits.

Environmental Health is concerned with the environmental quality of the community and the health and safety of the community and is responsible for enforcing local, state, and federal regulations that pertain to water, sewage disposal, and other public health issues. 

Provides counseling and therapy services. Services include behavioral health, individual counseling, couple and marital counseling, family counseling, children and adolescent services, cognitive behavior therapy, and more.
