Lyons Campus Children's Center
Provides quality childcare for children ages six weeks through school age. Open through the evening to meet the needs of parents who need extended care. Preschool is also provided.

Clermont Public Library
Offers library services and programs for the public including story times. Items that may be borrowed from or used in the library include CDs/DVDs, large print materials, audio books, magazines, and newspapers. The library also provides access to computers, WIFI access available, reference, and information services.
Keith County Offices
County level services provide direct emergency economic aid for vital necessities to veterans, their widow, and dependents, according to their needs. Personal visits for assistance and claims to housebound veterans or dependents. Must have an honorable or under honorable conditions discharge from active duty or wartime service. Must be a resident in Nebraska for the past one year and 6 months of that year in Keith County. Issue Bronze flag holders for Keith County Veterans grave sites.
State level services do not require wartime service. Assist in completing applications for the Nebraska Veterans Aid Fund, fee exempt fishing and hunting permits, applications to the Nebraska Veterans Homes, and Waivers of Tuition.
Federal level services provide and/or complete Veteran Administration forms for claims relating but not limited to service connected compensation, disability pension, widow's death pension, burial allowance, grave markers/headstones/medallions, educational benefits, home loans, life insurance, indebtedness, and character of service upgrades.
Abundant Faith Christian Center - Taylor Avenue Campus
Offers supportive housing facilities for those in need. Each of these facilities offers supportive services, such as counseling, educational programs, quality childcare, and job training.
Haven House: Provides a home environment for women with or without children. Haven Apartments: Permanent supportive housing that serves homeless women and their children who may be disabled. Hope Place: Provides a home environment for families with low-to-moderate incomes.
Whiteside County Health Department
Provides the federally funded supplemental food and nutrition education program intended to improve the nutritional status of eligible pregnant, postpartum, and breast feeding women, infants, and children up to the age of five. Includes family case management.
WIC participants receive ongoing nutritional assessments, medical assessments, and vouchers for nutritious foods intended to supplement their diet. WIC foods are individually determined for each participant.
Walnut Creek Family YMCA
Camps for boys and girls age 7 through 16 years offered at the Walnut Creek and Waukee YMCA's. Day camps vary by location. Specialized camps are also offered at those YMCA locations. Scholarships may be available for those that qualify, call for more details.

Helpline staff provide guidance so adults can learn about sexual abuse; identify specialized treatment options and resources for themselves or someone they care about; develop prevention and safety plan strategies; find language for an effective conversation when they have concerns; and learn how to report concerns to authorities when appropriate.
HopeSprings Counseling Services
Offers counseling and wellness services for youth, adults, and families in the community who are experiencing difficulty in relationships, socialization, physical or mental wellness and emotional concerns. Some services/counseling types include, individual and family counseling, group sessions, case management, child abuse, sex abuse, and neglect, domestic violence, major depressive disorder, bi-polar disorder, and other mood disorders, parent/child relational issues, and PTSD and other anxiety disorders.

Washington Street Mission
Provides free laundry services to the community. Community members may drop off laundry and pick up at a later time. The number of loads may be limited due to demand for services. Laundry drop off and pick up is only available during normal operating hours, Monday through Friday.

Regulates insurance industry in the state of Iowa. Provides consumer services for information regarding insurance companies, filing complaints, and general insurance inquiries. Also accepts and investigates reports of insurance fraud.

Infinity Health - Mount Ayr
Provide outpatient therapy, outpatient psychiatry, psychiatric evaluations, and group therapy to children and adults for individual, group, marital, and play therapy. Services include substance abuse counseling, support groups, and medication-based treatment for substance use disorders, which combines approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to help individuals reduce or eliminate dependency on opioids or alcohol.
Crawford County Community Health
Family STEPS is a Healthy Families America affiliate. This program provides in-home parenting education and supports for families prenatal and children birth to five years. Home visits provide guidance and support in parenting and many aspects including discipline. The frequency of visits are based on each family’s needs, strengths, and circumstances with visits typically lasting 60 minutes. There is no cost to participate in this program.

This program will help participants prepare for the class, enroll into the DMACC CDL program at no cost, and obtain a job after completion. Participants will also qualify for “Jump Start” training specially designed to help English Language Learners.

Provides medical care to patients in the end stage of a terminal diagnosis.
Hospice care includes:
- Medications to help manage symptoms and for comfort.
- Equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, canes, etc.
- Supplies such as linens, gloves, dressings, catheters, gowns, incontinent supplies.
- Visits by a Registered Nurse to assess and manage symptoms.
- Visits by a Home Health Aide to provide personal care, such as bathing, hair care, massage, and range of motion exercise.
- Oversight by physician.
Menard County Emergency Management Agency
Provides emergency preparedness and recovery resources are available for natural hazards such as droughts, earthquakes, floods, large-scale fires, tornadoes, and winter storms. As well as man-made hazards such as civil disorder incidents, hazardous material incidents, major transportation accidents, nuclear power plant accidents, pollution and sanitation problems, and terrorism incidents. Other services include pre-hospital emergency medical services, vial for Life (medical information), CPR and First Aid classes, and 24/7 Advanced Life Support Emergency Transport.
Western Egyptian Economic Opportunity Council - Monroe County
LIHEAP (low income home energy assistance program) provides assistance with a utility bill. Applications are accepted November 1 – August 15; for elderly or disabled individuals applications are accepted starting October 1. Income must fall within 200% of poverty guideline. Call for an appointment. A letter has been sent to those who may be eligible for early application in August or September.
Some applicants may qualify for the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP), where an eligible client pays a percentage of their income, receives a monthly benefit towards their utility bill, and receives a reduction in overdue payments for every on-time payment they make by the bill due date. If the homeowner's furnace is not working or is dangerous or emitting carbon monoxide into the household, LIHEAP may be able to provide a furnace repair or replacement. Contact for more information.
