Environmental Health is concerned with the environmental quality of the community and the health and safety of the community and is responsible for enforcing local, state, and federal regulations that pertain to water, sewage disposal, and other public health issues. Can provide financial assistance for abandoned well closing and on-site wastewater systems.

Offers minor home repairs that can be requested and are then assessed. If the repair is beyond the scope of this program, clients will be referred to another entity or for-profit business that may be able to assist at a discount. Repairs that are only aesthetic in nature (such as cleaning windows or painting) will not be considered.

Seasonal yard work projects will also be considered.

Provides the community with recreation opportunities. Includes activities for youth, seniors, and people with disabilities.

Provides affordable, safe, service-enriched housing for low-income families.

The Resident Services Program, offered onsite by a Resident Services Coordinator, provides key activities and supports to residents for health and wellness, education (out-of-school time program), financial stability, housing stability, and community engagement.

Provides care for the whole family, including physicals, immunizations, prenatal care, and general health services. Offers comprehensive and preventive healthcare for prenatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients by board-certified family medicine physicians.

Provides emergency shelter and longer-term housing opportunities and supportive services for single adults and families experiencing homelessness and extreme housing instability.

Offers a place for all Champaign County seniors to socialize, enjoy recreational activities, tap into free classes, and get support. Seniors who come to the Stevick Senior Center will also have access onsite to our Aging Services Navigators to help connect them with other services and attend to seniors' temporal needs.
