Mobile Hearing Screening Unit that travels the state to give free screenings to adults, detect possible hearing loss, and educate the public.
Used Hearing Aid Bank provides reconditioned hearing aids to persons who cannot afford them.

The program is site-based and operates at different schools sites in the community. Every group at each particular site meets at different times.

HACAP - Waterfront
Offers to assist home owners or renters who have a disconnect notice or have missed a payment on a pay arrangement. Can also assist homeowners who have a back bill. If funds are available, households may receive emergency assistance with furnace repair/replacement (if a homeowner) and/or emergency delivery of deliverable fuel. Clients need to have been LIHEAP approved during our program year (October 1 through April 30) or they can complete a crisis application.

SAL Community Services’ Prevention Initiative program offers early, continuous child development and family support services in Rock Island County.
The comprehensive year-round program is for families with children currently enrolled in SAL’s early childhood programs, including Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers and select licensed homes within our Home Child Care Network. It is also available to new families in the community who are interested in establishing a strong early learning foundation for their children.
