Provides food and personal hygiene grooming products, including diapers, to families in need. Food vouchers to local grocery stores for fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, milk, bread, potatoes, cheese, laundry soap, dish soap and toilet paper may also be available.

State Supplement adds to the benefits of the federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Program to bring the income of aged and disabled individuals up to the need of standards of Nebraska. Additionally, some persons are not eligible for SSI payments, but qualify for a State Supplement payment because of different standards and regulations.

State Disability provides aid to needy persons who have a disability expected to last for at least six months, but less than the 12 months required to be eligible for the federal Supplemental Security Income Program.

Provides engineering and design of County roadway projects, including local resurfacing and bridge replacement. The division is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the County Secondary Road System, including ditch cleaning, roadway surface repairs, bridge and culvert repairs, and snow removal.

The Youth Employment Program is designed to create a supportive learning environment for all participants. Students come away with an understanding of the direct link between academic achievement and future career aspirations, the basic skills needed to find and keep a job and achieve basic financial literacy, and the value of giving back to their community through service learning projects.

Provides a weekly food pantry to the Henderson County communities. Also provides weekend food for the WC School District students who may otherwise experience food insecurity over the weekend. To families in need, will provide extra food over the summer through the Lunch Pals program.

Connects families to dentists and provides education about the benefits of regular dental care; fluoride varnish available to children by appointment.

Volunteer drivers provide rides to cancer patients. It can take several days to coordinate your ride, so please call well in advance.  Clients must be able to walk unassisted; walkers and canes qualify for walking unassisted.

Provides help to young people to connect with relevant learning and the emphasizes the importance of staying in school. Their volunteer-delivered K-12 programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills.
