Veterans Transitional Housing provides group living with supportive services for male veterans experiencing homelessness and problems with mental illness or co-occurring disorders. Veterans must be services connected and approved to reside in the program by VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care Systems. Expected stay is six months.

Veterans Permanent Housing Program is rental assistance for veterans male or female who are experiencing homelessness and problems with mental illness, substance abuse, or co-occurring disorders.

Veterans Transition in Place provides scattered site housing for male or female veterans who are experiencing homelessness and problems with mental illness, substance abuse, or co-occurring disorders. Upon graduation, veterans retain lease of rental.

Vocational rehabilitation services include vocational guidance and counseling; training, tuition, and equipment; occupational equipment and supplies; assistance for establishing small businesses (NBE); job placement and follow-up services; and medical services.

Supportive services and transitional services for youth who are proceeding from high school to college.

Offers help for individuals to achieve economic and social self-sufficiency.

Provides in-person and virtual tax assistance to anyone free of charge with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low-to-moderate income for the 2026 tax season. Free, year-round tax assistance is also available on the Internet. Taxpayers can post tax questions to online tax assistors by visiting the website.

Helps schools, parents, and the community in an effort to prepare young people to become successful and productive citizens.

Focuses on the YMCA core values of Character, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility, tied with the Six Pillars of Character Development to enhance the self confidence, motivation, and self esteem of the participants.

The program is site-based and operates at different schools sites in the community. Every group at each particular site meets at different times.

Identifies at-risk youth that are potential leaders and are currently underachieving.

Provides school supplies and one school uniform at no cost.

Helps homeowners and tenants save their homes through available legal strategies, including foreclosure defenses in court, bankruptcy, income generation, loan modification, and various alternatives to foreclosure.

Helps with subsidized housing (public housing, Section 8 and other rental assistance) evictions, termination of assistance, rent calculations, and admissions issues, evictions from mobile home parks, evictions by private landlords, discrimination and disability accommodation (see Fair Housing Project), foreclosure, property tax, and other homeownership issues, and housing protection for seniors, veterans, and people living with HIV/AIDS.

Provides an incentive-based store where participants of YPN prenatal and parenting classes and home visitations can bring their points earned in and shop for baby care items such as diapers, wipes, clothing, shoes, toys, books, highchairs, strollers, walkers, boppy pillows and more. All items in the shop have been donated by community members so inventory varies by season.

Extended outpatient and continuing care services for adults and adolescents. Offers treatment in both group and individual settings.

Works to help Veterans on their recovery journey through outpatient and inpatient services. The residential facility helps Veterans deal with substance abuse, homelessness, mental health, and unemployment through its 24-hour therapeutic and educational programs.

- Advocacy.

- Transition Program.

In addition, the Center offers programs that include Personal Assistance (PA Services), Community Reintegration Program, and Education/Outreach programs.
