Food boxes are available once a month to families in need within the 7 county service areas. Contact the local county outreach office for further assistance. Depending on availability, a food box would consist of meats, canned goods, baking products and toiletry items. There is no charge for the food pantry, but basic household information and proof of residency in one of the 7 counties is requested, when applying. The Food Bank of Iowa supplements the food pantry needs.

The program includes a semi-independent living environment designed to support adults with disabilities, offering functional skills training and on-site supportive services in a group setting. Residents are encouraged to develop self-help skills and may receive assistance in managing personal needs, with staff available as needed. Additionally, the program facilitates supported living services, helping individuals transition to living in their own homes or apartments by providing personalized assistance with daily living activities, budgeting, medical appointments, meal preparation, and community engagement.

Provides the reception and classification center for all new commitments to the adult institutional corrections system. IMCC houses a general population of approximately 250 offenders. The facility houses four mental health units and three medical units. IMCC provides psychiatric, psychological, nursing, pharmacy, pathology, education, and social services. Educational opportunities available to IMCC patients/inmates include instruction in General Education Development and Adult Basic Education, special education for eligible individuals, and a high school diploma may be earned.
