Short Years Partnership

Fatherhood classes are provided by Dads With A Purpose which offers resources that assist in the development and strengthening of the family unit, with some programs and/or classes focusing primarily on the father, while others focus on the mother. Also provides co-parenting classes to help strengthen the parents as a "team." Classes are once a week for eight weeks. Child support forgiveness and Y membership available.

Cradle of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center - Burlington

Provides free and confidential services to pregnant women, their families, and individuals with young children. Services include pregnancy testing, pregnancy counseling, limited ultrasound, ongoing pregnancy support, referrals for community support services, support after an abortion, the Earn While You Learn Program, fatherhood mentoring, and a maternity home.

Also, provides childbirth education classes to prepare prospective mothers, birth partners, and family members for the labor and birth process, covering topics such as anatomy, breathing and relaxation techniques, delivery options, and postpartum care.

Additionally, resources and guidance are available to support economic self-sufficiency, including vocational evaluation, training in marketable skills, and referrals for employment opportunities tailored to those facing emotional challenges, substance abuse issues, or disabilities.
