Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois
Helps youth and young adults obtain full time sustainable employment at livable wages. In this process, if training/schooling is needed to reach this goal, the program can assist with tuition for schooling and job placement. Provides supportive services such as transportation, childcare assistance, and required materials for schooling.
Other services offered include placement in Paid Work Experience (temporary work up to 350 hours) and On-The-Job training employer subsidy program (permanent full-time work).

Provides free food for individuals in need during regular library hours.
Kankakee Township
Provides an assistance program for Kankakee Township residents administered and funded entirely by Kankakee Township that provides financial assistance for rent and/or utilities. This program is an income based program primarily for adults who have no minor children in the home and are ineligible for any of the federally-funded cash grant programs.

Emergency financial assistance for basic necessities such as rent and utilities may be available. Can also assists with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws.

Center for Youth and Family Solutions - LaSalle
Specializes in providing assistance to individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families for a full range of life and family issues, including couples problems, depression, anxiety, childhood and adolescent behavioral issues, trauma, and grief.
Staff are also available to provide education seminars or specialized group counseling programs on site to any local organization, school, church, or business; topics include communication, conflict resolution, parent training and education, child and adolescent groups, marital enrichment, and anger management.
Services may be available outside of normal business hours.
LifeServe Blood Center - Marshalltown
Cradle of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center - Burlington
Provides free and confidential services to pregnant women, their families, and individuals with young children. Services include pregnancy testing, pregnancy counseling, limited ultrasound, ongoing pregnancy support, referrals for community support services, support after an abortion, the Earn While You Learn Program, fatherhood mentoring, and a maternity home.
Also, provides childbirth education classes to prepare prospective mothers, birth partners, and family members for the labor and birth process, covering topics such as anatomy, breathing and relaxation techniques, delivery options, and postpartum care.
Additionally, resources and guidance are available to support economic self-sufficiency, including vocational evaluation, training in marketable skills, and referrals for employment opportunities tailored to those facing emotional challenges, substance abuse issues, or disabilities.
